I just started watching the Food Network channel in the last 4 weeks and can't get enough of Paula Deen and her sons. All of their recipes are excellent and I will be cooking all of them.

I love this recipe and can't make it often enough. I leave out the brandy, peppercorns and salt and add freshly ground pepper and a dash of cayenne. I tried this over a baked potato but much prefer it over chicken.

We made this last night and served it along with some grilled pork chops. It is Incredible. I drained the bacon grease off as it was so much, and smashed the peppercorns as suggested by another reviewer. It will be something we make again and often. Great topping for chicken, steak or pork chops if you have that with it. It can be a whole meal however. YUM!!!!!

This is one of the best recipes I have tried from food network. We were in the mood for pasta and decided this sauce might be tasty on pasta as well as potatoes. We cooked a 12 oz box of De Cecco Parpadelle, drained the pasta well, and put the pasta in the large skillet with the prepared sauce. We tossed it well to coat all the pasta and used chopped green onions as garnish. We decided to skip the parmagiano regiano which we love. This was incredible. Thanks Paula for this great addition to our recipe collection.

My husband & I absolutely loved this recipe. He said I could make this special sauce all the time. I didn't have green peppercorns but used freshly grated black peppercorns in it. It was so delicious we used some of it over the grilled marinated flank steak. Yum!
