This was fabulous except the green peppercorns. Their brininess was an unpleasant contrast to the richness of the sauce. I spent 10 minutes picking them out before serving it. Since I couldn't bring myself to use heavy cream, I substituted almost a whole can of Fat-Free Evaporated Milk and 2 TSP of cornstarch. Thickened right up and was very filling!

These potatoes with their decedent mushroom and bacon sauce are fabulous! The taste of bacon with the mushrooms puts the flavor over the top. Easy to make and great eats!

These potatos are the first receipe I have made since watching the food network. They are absolutely wonderful. I made them with rib-eye steaks which was much too much food, but delicious. Very rich and great looking too. Like something from a restaurant. The whole family love them including two very picky teens.

When I saw the show and saw Paula eating this my mouth started to water. I ran to my computer and printed off the recipe. I purchased the ingredients and boy words cannot express how delicious this is. I love it! I can wait to share it with some of my friends and family.

Oh my goodness! This recipe is very good and rich. My husbad seemed perplexed that we were having potatoes for dinner with just a salad. He was pleasantly surprised at how filling it was. When I saw Paula make this, she took a little cornstarch and water to thicken the sauce. It was not in the recipe but I included it and it was thick and creamy. Excellent!

Paula, The day I saw you prepare this jacket potato I had to make it the very same day. I made it without using the liquor as I would have set my house on fire. It truly is a meal in itself and oh sooooo delicious!!

Made this for my family. Did not use the brandy because did not have any on hand, but it was a winner with everyone.
Thanks, Paula, we have been waiting for a show like yours ever since foodnetwork aired! Food people will eat!

After watching this on TV this morning my husband said we have to make that for dinner. We did not use the brandy but what a yummy dinner. My boys even loved it or should I say of what we would let them eat of it. We were a little stingy.
    Thanks Paula
    WE LOVE YOU!!The Kelley's
