Quick, easy recipe that isn't as good as more complex recipes, but the simplicity to tastiness ratio makes it a winner

I never used store bought pie crust until I tried this recipe. I found it to not only be one of the best tasting peach cobbler recipes, but quick and easy to make. This recipe is a keeper!

I am a church cook. I made a large batch of this for approximately 70 people. It was a special training so we had a smaller crowd. It went over so well that I am going to incorporate it into one of my larger meals to see how it goes. People who usually don't eat much dessert were going back for another large helping. I did one large pan of peach and one large pan of peach and mixed berries. I used a 48 ounce frozen bag of mixed berried and used the same directions as the peach. It was a nice mix. God bless Aretha and Emeril for bringing this to my attention!

I come from a family tradition of good cooks. Problem is all the recipes are the same: "a pinch of this, a little of that." I do borrow from the tradition in that I do rely on intuition. I only had seasoned bread crumbs, so I thickened the juice with cornstarch and added a 1/4 c. of sugar. It is sinfully delicious. For years I've begged anyone who would listen for a good peach cobbler recipe, and now I have one. I only have two problems with this recipe 1it's too easy. All I don't keep in my cabinet is the peaches, so needless to say, I'll make this in a minute. 2 It's too good to share. I make sure to cut everyone's pieces so I can have double my fair share of the cobbler.
