So simple, so delicious. The saltiness of the turkey is great with the asparagus. I was afraid at 12 minutes they'd be overcooked, but they were just perfect.

I made these for a dinner party appetizer and they were a huge hit. I only had one left and I think that was nobody wanted to take the last one.

I made this as an appetizer for a supper with friends. Delicious! The chives worked fine for holding the turkey. Mine were done in 12 minutes, so I did not turn them. I'm sure it depends on the thickness of the apsaragus. The roasted red pepper dip was also very good with this. I will definitely make this again. Good and also low fat!

I've made these a few times and they are great. The chive doesn't always keep the turkey b/c it gets a little crisp in the oven. Try a toothpick through the spear if you really want to make sure the turkey stays on for presentation purposes. Tastes great. Everyone will like!

Was very good and easy to prepare. I made it for a party and everyone loved it. I didn't have the chives so made it without. It probably would've helped to keep the turkey in place. Will definitely make it again this time with the chives. Thanks Ellie, I love to watch your show and I bought your book.

Even my two big brothers loved this dish...and they not only detest vegetables but anythinng other than the usual pastas and meat. Well lets just say I tripled the recipe and the family still wanted more! The chives were an adorable touch and elegance, a must! Bravo

This is a very easy recipe to make. It can be a little time consuming as you have to roll the asparagus with the turkey and tie it with the chives, but the time investment is well worth it. You could make this for yourself as finger food or you could even serve it as an elegant appetizer or side dish. It's very tasty too.
