I did not read the reviews before trying this recipe. It was waaaaay too lemony. I will make it again and use only 1 tablespoon of lemon or omit it entirely. The zest of lemon may be enough.

This is the second time in less than a week that I made this dish.
I do agree, less lemon juice is best. I measured and used 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. It was perfect. Do not be afraid of the lemon. Thats why its called Lemon Pepper Orzo. It really addes that extra punch to your bite.
I do have to note that I rewatched this episode ad I noticed when Arron takes a bit he makes a pucker face...which means to much lemon. So adjust for your taste but don't stay away from the recipe or the lemon. You will love it!

This was good but still too lemony like others have said. I had made a similar type recipe from Giada about 6 months ago and it was way too lemony also. I thought this was worth trying since it looked so good on TV but will leave out the lemon next time. I only used the juice from one lemon and the zest.

I was scared to use the juice of two lemons AND the zest because of the other reviews, but if you like a true "lemon pepper" taste, follow exactly! phenomenal dish!

This was a fabulous, quick and easy side dish. My family loved it so much I made it again the next evening. I also did not use the lemon so I have no complaints.

This was just as Aaron promised- perfect comfort food- so happy I have leftovers to have with the Blackened Salmon tomorrow evening.

Made this tonight to go with pork chops and everyone loved it! I didn't add the lemon, so I can't say how it would have been had I added lemon. The only complaint from the family was there wasn't enough. We will be making this again. It's so easy yet taste like a million bucks!!

Waaayyyy too much lemon used in this recipe.... Could have been tasty, but need to tweek the lemon amount. Maybe half of what is recommended. My wife says even maybe a quarter of the amount!!
