Fabulous taste and texture. My husband absolutely loves this recipe. We are always looking for great, hearty vegetarian recipes, and this recipe is amazing . I did add a few breadcrumbs in order to thicken the mixture. I also second the addition of wild rice and mushrooms. Indeed, it is a time-consuming recipe, but overall, the recipe is simple and definitely worth the time.

Absolutely delicious, but time consuming. This is a very tasty recipe, not bland at all (thanks to the fresh garlic, basil, & cheese. The recipe says it takes 1.5 hours, but it easily took me an hour 45, including the resting period at the end, and I used frozen chopped spinach to help speed things along. I think this loaf would even be tasty at room temperature, perfect for a holiday buffet. I, too, was able to make 2 loaves w/ this recipe (using williams-sonoma loaf pans... serves 8-10 as a side dish.

Excellent recipe!!! I brought it to work for lunch and had three requests for the recipe. Not at all bland if you're using real garlic. And, no curry taste at all. Will make over and over again!

Incredibly tasty. I had enough to fill 2 loaf pans, although I didn't add the mozz cheese...because I forgot to buy it. A repeater for sure.

Good texture, although ended up tasting like Indian lentil and rice curry. Ended up throwing it out, probably won't make it again.

Amazing! It's a little time consuming but all worth the work. I made this for my non-meat eaters as well as my meat eaters --which are all super picky and got the best feedback ever. They all loved it and even asked for the recipe! :

For my personal taste I added extra mozzarella cheese.
