I added black walnuts with my recipe, could have made them a little smaller because mine did not make 2 1/2 dozen. Extremely easy!

These cookies are delicious. I made them and took them to work. Everybody thought they were store bought because they were so beautiful and I had put them in nice canister. They ate them so fast that I was glad I had put some aside for myself at home. These cookies are a home run.

These are so incredibly good, and very easy to make. I make these at Christmas and everyone just loves them. Needless to say, they don't last long! But that's a good thing. : Thanks for the yummy recipe. Keep them coming!

I feel this recipe does not compare to Paula's "Buttery Finger Cookies" from the Candy/Sweets Show. Similiar ingredients, but with much better taste especially if you add mini chocolate chips. Try them!

These are by far one of the best cookies I have ever baked. Every person who has tasted htese has requested them for parties & gifts. I make them for parties, gifts or just to give to my frends & family when I visit. They are a huge hit.

Although I have been called the Cookie Lady by many people, I must say that Paula's recipe for Mexican Wedding Cakes in much better than the one I have used previously. Her use of confectioners sugar versus granulated sugar, produces a lovely melt in your mouth cookie. Also baking them at a lower temp. for a longer period of time is a very definite factor in their outcome. Paula, you're my hero.

    Dear Paula,
I love all your recipes but this one did not turn out for me! Mine turned out hard and dry and tasted chalky. I have tried many of your recipes and this was by far the easiest, I guess I just favor your gooey recipes!!!

I have tried to make Mexican Wedding Cookies with 3 other recipies, with no success. I made these for Christmas and they were the first cookies gone. I did use walnuts instead of pecans, as it was late and my husband loves walnuts! Thank you Paula, they actually MELT in your mouth girl!
