this cake is not much on the dieters side, but who CARES! This was very simple and very close to an everyday Coffee Shops coffee cake that I would pay for $2.00/day. Now I can have a whole bundt cake for the week and save at least $6.00 a week! I love you Paula! I have made 5 reciepes from your show and during entertainment with friends, they CAN NOT believe that I get these reciepes off yor show. Thanks so much, keep up the good work and tell Lady Byrd, "Hello!" From the Saunders Family, N. Highlands, CA

For those of you that feel it's a bit dry, try a drizzle of cream cheese icing over the top... yummy! I sliced this up and put it in the freezer, and it freezes beautifully. Just pop out a slice or two when needed, and you have it on hand for a great addition to a last minute brunch, or to go with a cup of coffee in the evening. Very good flavor.

Made this cake for a dinner party. Everyone loved it and kept asking for the recipe. They couldn't believe it started with a boxed spice cake. The best part was it was so quick and easy. I added 2 granny smith apples that I peeled and sliced small, just above the first layer of the pecan sugar mixture. Delicious!

This was such an easy cake to make...and it turned out beautifully. I did increase the amount of pecans so that there were lots in the middle. I added it to a brunch menu and it was gone before the party ended. Thanks Paula!

I have this same recipe but it calls for super moist yellow cake mix. It's so moist and much better the next day. Looking forward to trying this with spice cake.

I made this with yellow cake, coconut cream pudding and a ring of raspberry jam in the center. What a hit. Easy, Quick, and tastes like I worked for a long time.

    Thanks again, Paula.
