This was possibly the best swordfish I have ever eaten! The pesto was superb, thanks to the lemon and orange. My husband is a big tartar sauce guy, so I put his pesto on the side, thinking he'd want tartar instead. But no, he loved the pesto! I served it with zucchini couscous from another site, and it's the best dinner we've had in months. AND, by the way, extremely easy.

My kids (ages 16 and 13 can have a rather "discerning palette" at times and some fish are just a no-go with them, but I can use this recipe with virtually any fish (including salmon steaks and they love it. Thanks so much for a great recipe Giada!

I made this the other night for dinner. After reading through some of the reviews, I used the zest from the whole lemon and orange, but only used the juice from half of each. Instead of coating the sauce over the swordfish as seen in the photo, I spooned it across the swordfish and sprinkled a few more toasted pine nuts on top. I then squeezed the other half of the lemon over each serving on the plates.

We had this with beets, sauteed beet greens and a grilled italian bread and cherry tomato salad - It was a lovely, healthy summer meal

This was so easy, my husband loved it & I'll add this to the list of "good enough for company" dishes. I served this over penne pasta & grilled the fish outside on the gas grill. I think I cooked the fish just a minute or two too long as it was a bit dry, so becareful not to overcook. But the chargrilled taste made it worth firing up the grill vs. on the stovetop in a grill pan. ENJOY!

Normally, I'm not to keen on recipes with citrus, but I've really been struggling to add fish to my family's diet, so I gave this recipe a try. It looked so easy, I took a chance.

OMG! It was so fast & easy and amazingly delicious. "I just love it!" Even though my daughter doesn't like pine nuts, she smothered the fish with pesto and devoured it. My whole family loved it.

To round out the meal, I served angel hair pasta tossed with EVOO and a side of steamed broccoli. The leftover pesto was perfect in my turkey wrap for lunch the following day. Giada you are the best!!!!

I put this over arugula, endives and salad veggies. I cut the pesto recipe in half to serve 2 and had plenty of the pesto to serve as a dressing. It was so so so healthy, light and as Giada says, "yummy!"

A solid recipe, squirt some lemon over the fish before adding the sauce. I made it for three people and have lots of sauce left over. It will be good for a lunch pasta. Wish I'd read the reviews first because Caren's idea of placing it on pasta with cut asparagus is a great idea, Thanks!

This was a great change for what I usually do with swordfish. The pesto is excellent. I think the recipe is fine, as it is. The only thing is, it makes 2-3 times what is needed. Since you're using 1 lemon and 1 orange, it you cut the recipe in half or down to a third, you'll have extra citrus that may get wasted. It may be easier to make the entire recipe and use the extra pesto on something else.
    Anyhow, it's delicious!

My boyfriend and I made this last night and it turned out to be quite an awesome main course! ( Instead of grilling it though, he panseared the swordfish. I love the citrus pesto! We even used the leftover pesto today for lunch on some pasta, so we got two meals out of it.
