This is a good way to make acorn squash. The cook time should be one hour, however.

I love this recipe but I start off in the nuker. And nuke the squash with the cut side down for 8 minutes. Then proceed to the oven. Squash never drys out.

I watched the show, and Tyler cut the squash halves in half again....so Quarter the squash. This would solve the problem people are having regarding cooking time!

Maybe I didn't do it right, but this turned out NASTY. I don't think squash was meant to be this sweet. Recipe going into the shredder right now.

We have tried this recipe twice, and while the flavor of the topping is wonderful, the squash cooks for 1 hour plus, and still isn't done. We've tried cutting the squash smaller, but it still comes out hard and not very tastey.

This was such a delicious recipe. I made the whole Ultimate Pork menu and it was easy and everyone loved it. I had some amaretti cookies and used those instead of the pignoli cookies. I used three acorn squash and had plenty of the butter mixture leftover. Perhaps my squash was small. Would definitely recommend this recipe.

I am not a squash eater in any way shape or form, or I wasn't until I got this recipe. i didn't have any amaretto, and the ABC stores in my area are closed on Sundays (my luck, so I used Pitron Citronge, an orange liqueur. Came out incredible.
