My husband made this soup because he knows I love chicken pot pie. Well all I could say while eating this wonderful and delicious soup was HMMMMMM!!!! This is a wonderful creation and had my husband make a second batch the next day!!!! The pie crust just brings this soup to a superior level!! Great job Big Daddy 1 and 2 (my hubby!!

I read this recipe last night and decided to make it today for a sick friend. It is very good and hearty, but had a little too much Italian seasoning for my taste. I also had to add extra salt before serving. The texture and flavor of the pie crust really enhances the soup. We will make this again, just decreasing the Italian Seasoning next time. Thanks for a quick and easy winter recipe!

loved this soup!! I made a small change I didn't use the heavy cream, I used evaporared milk. This will be on the menu all winter

This recipe had great pot pie taste. This is the first time I made it and I'm glad it was just me and hubby. It wasn't think enough for my taste and I forgot to check the potatoes. Yes, they were not cooked all the way through. I sure thought they would be. The pie crust was great with this. Although it was good, it didn't seem to have enough to it to make you feel full unless you ate that second bowl. Hubby wants me to make biscuits next time. I will see how the second day goes and I may have to thicken it. I will definitely try this again. Sandy

My family loved this recipe! I loved the uniqueness of it, and it was oh soooo good.

My 12-year-old daughter and I made this soup for our family - and it was a hit!!! It was easy to make - and just as delicious as I wanted it to be. It really does taste like a soup version of chicken pot pie. I didn't change anything in the recipe at all - made it just like it asked. You can mix in as little or as much of the pie crust pieces as you eat it. Wonderful!! Keep up the good work, Aaron.

This is the best...Big Daddy, this is the best. My family loved it! It's a true belly buster.
