I thought that the amount of effort (blened of all the different spices and amount of ingredents used did not do this dish any justice. The blue cheese did not complement the mango very well in my opinion. I certainly would not make this dish again.

This is so simple, yet elegant and delicious. Please try. I am fortunate already to have the spices which you can order through his catalogue. It made the recipe really easy.

I've made this recipe twice- once to taste test before my dinner party, then again for my guests this weekend. It was a big hit both times. I was a little intimidated to make the spice essence, but it was simple and now I have it on hand. The second time I made it with less blue cheeze on top. You just need a taste, you don't want to over-power the mango which is so good on its own.

I cooked it in a fry pan and needed to double the cook time. The cheese compliments the fruit well but we'll use more cheese next time.

Michael is the king of sweet-savory. I whipped this up on the grill pan to go with an herb omlet for an intimate brunch with my husband right after watching this episode. Oh, my goodness. the ground spices provide such a nice complement to the grilled mangos and the warm, drizzeled honey on top made me feel all nuzzled inside. You'll love this easy dish.

We loved this. I only made half of the spice rub, I subbed paprika for chili powder & greatly decreased the amount & I subbed caraway seeds for the coriander. The flavors complemented each other so well...will have again many times. Don't be afraid of the spice rub...it smells potent but tastes great.
