Made this for my family today and was so surprised on how good these doughnuts actually taste.....fantastic. I used cinnamon and sugar topping(my favorite and used canned chocolate fudge frosting(melted in the microwave. Everyone loved them and I will be making these instead of buying doughnuts from now on. These taste so much better anyway....Thanks Paula, you rock!

These are SO easy and super yummy! I use the reduced-fat biscuits. We like them best served warm with the powdered sugar glaze. These are a family favorite!!

O.M.G. These are AMAZING and soooo simple! I just found this recipe, literally, about half and hour ago. I went to the store, bought a can of buttermilk biscuits, used what I had left of vegetable oil and smart balance oil, and voila! Crispy soft sweet deliciousness in about 5 minutes! I added cinnamon to the vanilla glaze and they were just fabulous! I will definitely be making these Christmas morning!

I was a total skeptic about these for quite a while based on the fact that they were made with Biscuit dough! :.O However, after reading all of the raving reviews, I decided to put on my big-girl panties and try these out. SO happy I did!!!
The only recommendation I have is that you may want to consider making your own chocolate glaze...we weren't impressed. But, the vanilla glaze is AMAZZZZZZZING. Did I mention AMAZING? We loved it. We tossed sprinkles on ours after we glazed them well.
Would be a nice gesture to make these on Christmas morning and drop some warm ones off with your neighbors for their breakfast :

WOW!!! Never thought making doughnuts would be so easy and so very tasty! Just made these today and a huge hit! I ran out of peanut oil, and just substituted canola oil for the entire 2 inches in the dutch oven. A keeper of a recipe!

I cannot believe how irrestible this doughnuts were! Struck right out of the park on this. My hubby and I made them together this morning in our deep fryer and they were the best ever. I expected them to be really dense but they weren't at all. I used a flaky biscuit so maybe that added to the goodness. I also used vegetable shortning instead of peanut oil but they were delicious. This will be something that will be a family tradition from now on. Thanks for sharing Paula and You are the BEST!! :-D

Buddy, Joey, and Smithy made this recipe today. It was very fast and easy. The donuts tasted great even with just powdered sugar. We had a little trouble making chocolate icing for them. We do not suggest making it in the microwave :

After biting into one of these easy to make donuts, my 7 year old daughter said, "This is life changing!" We gobbled them up! Just sent grandpa out for three more cans of biscuits! This is a recipe to keep in the books for a lifetime!
