Made this on a camping trip for family and friends. Absolutely fabulous! Big hit, kept coming back for more. The only change we made was we used candadian bacon for the meat. Much praise. Thank you!

This was my first time ever trying out food network and the recipes. I made this for my kids and we all loved it. It wasnt that hard to do and the taste, well that was superb. Plus it ended up looking beautiful. Thank you so much for having this recipe on the show. Ill be making this from now on.

I made this for breakfast today. All I had was bacon and cheddar (Croque Madame-Americana: Anyway, it was wonderful. I added a few drops of tabasco for a little kick and it was a great addition. I might cut back just a bit on the dijon next time for our personal tastes.

I'd never had a Croque Madame before, but I tried making this one night after a long, busy day. It was so easy to make and so delicious and comforting. This is definitely something I'd make again. Watching Rachel make it on TV, I kind of thought it'd pretty much be like any other egg sandwich, but the creamy sauce really adds something amazing to this recipe. So good!

I made this as a quick supper for my husband and I. We both loved it! I just served it with fresh tomato slices from our garden and it was really filling.

This is a great breakfast - with or without the egg, and sometimes thinning the sauce a little. Instead of letting the finished sandwich stand for 5 minutes, I just put it into the microwave for about 30 seconds and the cheese melts. I do not use 1/2 of the sauce recipe - it is very good and rich with about half that.
