I love limonade and this recipe was great! I have so much mint growing in my garden that I was glad to be able to use it with this recipe. I followed the tip below and made a simple syrup with 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar and added it to the recipe. I also added the 1/4 cup of sugar to the mint at first, for a total of 1 1/4 cups of sugar; and I kept the 8 cups of water.

I wasn't sure it I would like this, but I thought I would give it a try. It was a little time consuming to make, but well worth it. It was really quite refreshing.

I'm a real lover of citrus and as soon as I saw the segment of Paula and Bobby making this recipe I knew I must try it. It is so light and refreashing. I'm always looking to cut down on sugar and calories where I can so I replaced the sugar with a 1/4 cup plus 2 tbls of Truvia sweetner.

I just loved the citrus with the mint...such a great combo! I did a few things different. I made a simple syrup with the sugar and water. I doubled the mint and I increased the sugar to 1 cup plus 1/3 cup. I only used one lemon and lime for garnish.
I had my family over and they went through almost 2 gallons of the stuff. I made ice cubes made from lemonade, put the ice cubes in the pitcher with the sliced lemon and lime...so pretty

I made this mint lemon-limeade to go with the puff pastry cheeseburger recipe also courtesy of The Dean Brothers. This drink was so refreshing! I am not a big fan of mint but the mint was excellent in this lemon-limeade. I used one extra lime but everything else was the same. I can't wait to make more!

I made this a few weeks ago for the first time and it was great! It is really simple to make and it is so refreshing. Note: you may need to adjust how many lemons/limes and sugar that you will use...I found that to make one cup of juice I needed to use one extra lemon or lime and add a little more sugar so that it was sweet enough for my taste. I hope everyone tries this lemon/lime ade....you will never buy store bought again!

Just made this for my family. I tasted it and it needed another lemon or lime. I also ended up using a simple syrup (equal parts water and sugar, boiled instead of granulated sugar. Then added fresh mint leaves from the garden. Tasted great!
