The turkey meat sauce was excellent, but all the mixed cheese was heavy and salty, which dried out the lasagna.

I have made this several times for my family with exceptional results! I agree with other reviewers, salt can become an issue with all the cheese. It's better to leave the salt out and let everyone season at the table. I have no issue with the lasagna being too dry, in fact mine normally runs quite the opposite. I do add liquid during the simmering of the filling, per the recipe, and have never had an issue. My trick for best flavor is half sweet italian and half hot italian turkey sausage...YUM!

What the previous reviewer said. Too much salt. DO not add any salt to the sauce or the cheese mixture and it might be better.

Does this recipe work well to freeze ? If so at what point should you freeze it?

I just used regular ground turkey and the family loved it! Used Ina Garten's method of "cooking" lasagna noodles - just fill up your pot with super hot water from the sink and let the noodles sit for 20 minutes stirring every now and then so they don't stick together. We love Emeril and this recipe is worth taking the time to make. You won't be sorry!

I?m an amateur cook at best, I followed the receipt to a ?T? and it turned out better than I could have ever hoped!!! The only downside is a lot of prep work, but if you have the time it is certainly worth it! Everyone loved it.

This recipe was very good; everyone loved it. The question on layering ingredients was asked sometime ago so the person may not see a response this late, but I always first put a layer of sauce in the lasagna pan, followed by noodles and then layer everything as described from that point. I am not sure why people can't take the time to respond to questions posted by others.

This lasagna was incredible!! I made it exactly as the recipe dictated, with the exception that I used mild italian flavored chicken sausage from whole foods instead of plain turkey sausage. I used good quality cheeses as well, and my boyfriend and friends were BLOWN AWAY...highly recommended!
