If you live anywhere that folks regularly eat codfish fritters these will set you apart, and how. I live in Puerto Rico, and when I swrve these at a party they are THE hit. There is a typo in the recipe, use a TEASPOON of cayanne, not a tablespoon. Tried that, tears around, too much. Try these, they are wonderful. Thanks Sonny.

This recipe was not just delicious but also quick and easy. My family loved the results ! I am from Bermuda were we eat loads of fish, this was a nice addition to my recipe box.We made gumbo and had the codfish puppies on the side. A wonderful facelift to one of our family favorites.

They looked too good to eat. I like the easy preparation of the recipe and can not wait to give it a try along with a good and tasty side salad

miss anderson, this is not your invention like you said on your show. Caribbean people have been making this for years. Here,it's called Accra.I find it applauling that you said this was your invention

Important step left out of this recipe - cook the cod before adding it to the batter. I have never used this fish before and I had to throw it out because I could not get the fish to flake in it's uncooked state and I was left with a mess of skin. I read Tyler's recipe and then understood what needed to be done.

This is a really tasty salt cod fritter recipe. I skipped the onion and celery and used a bunch of scallions and cilantro instead; the batter fried up tender on the inside and nice and crispy on the outside. I also, as a general rule, soak the salt cod (read Alaskan Pollock for 24 hours and shange the water four times to get rid of the inherent saltiness. I will make this again and again, not to mention salt cod is still relatively cheap in NY. Thank you Sunny!
