I was disappointed in this dessert. I tried it because I had all the ingredients and it was simple to make. But the dessert was like rubber. Do not waste your good blueberries on this recipe.

I didn't care for this recipe. It looked good and smelled good but it was very bland and had a rubbery consistency. I would not make this again.

First of all, who has an 8X10 pan? I did not see the entire presentation on TV so I missed the part about spraying the pan with non-stick. I would like to have had more of the "cake" in this. I did like that this dish was not overly sweet.

MADE HALF THE RECIPE W/2 PT. BLUEBERRIES, SUBSTITUTES: 4 EGG WHITES, SPLENDA. GREAT FOR DIABETICS & HIGH CHOLESTER WITH THE SUBSTITUTES. DOES NEED PAN SPRAYED ON BOTTOM AS SEEN ON TV. LOVE YOUR SHOW!

I will try to make it again. I did forget to rotate it halfway. The texture was like rubber and I think my family just said they liked it to be nice. However, my 21 month old daughter liked it. So I guess that's something.

Tried this for the first time tonight and I can tell you I had NO trouble with it sticking. In fact, when I went to rotate half way thru it was sticking up over the rim by a good two inches.
If you saw this made on the show you would have noted that he made a BIG deal about spraying the dish with Pam cooking spray before putting the berries in the dish. He said he usually uses butter, but that this was such a "sticker" that he used Pam to ensure a good coat. Unfortunately, they didn't include this in the recipe. I promise that if you spray the dish down nothing will stick.
This isn't the prettiest dessert I ever made but it is definately one of the easiest to throw together and tastes YUMMY. I'm a stickler for picking recipes that don't call for odd ingredients that I'll never use again...thats what is so great about this one. Pick up the berries at the store and all else is stuff that is already on hand in reasonable quantities!
    A real winner!!

Made this with rasberries instead of blueberries and substituted splenda for half of the sugar. Unbelievably good and incredibly easy. My only complaint is that it stuck to the pan. I am making an american flag version for 7/4 (blueberries and rasberries and will prep the pan with pam to alleviate the sticking.

For those who complained that the fruit came to the top....it's supposed to. Check out the picture.

Hmm, my berries rose and the batter
sank to the bottom and was too dense.
Wonder what I did wrong ? Please advise
