Hot fudge sauce has a good taste, but it didn't get as thick as i thought it would. As the sauce cools it gets a little thicker.

These were good but the caramel sauce took forever to start to thicken up. In hind site, I would have made the caramel sauce before our bbq and then just warmed it up. It took so long that we didn't want to wait until it cooled enough not to melt our ice cream in ten seconds.

On the positive side, the flavor was great and I'm glad that I have a home made caramel sauce that my kids can eat. I'm going to make caramel apples out of the leftovers.

This was a great way to finish off a barbecue- the carmalized bananas worked out perfect. To save on calories, used storebrought lowfat chocolate sauce, but was a wonderful dessert- cooking time was right on.
