I have been married for 35 years and never had any luck with London Broil. I saw Guy do this recipe on his show and decided to try it with a London Broil. I followed the directions to the letter and it was outstanding. I agree that the longer the meat marinades the better it probably is so I plan on starting it the night before the next time I make it. My husband does the carving and he can never control a taste or two while he is carving, especially with beef. He loved it! I'm not much for rare beef but I actually enjoyed it very much too. This is a definite keeper. I have another London Broil in the freezer and my hubby wants to know when I'm going to make it again! Way to go Guy!!!!!!!!

Ive tried many of Guy's recipes and was shocked at my disappointment in this one. Judging by the ingredients I would have thought this one was going to be a real winner but it was just horribly bland!

I marinated the meat in the morning, and grilled it at night. Next time, I will marinate it the night before. I would of liked it to have a little more flavor, even though it was good! I would definitely make this receipe again.

This is a really good quick easy meal. This is perfect for the working people out there. Do you prep work the night before, and let it sit until you get home from work the next day. The only thing left is tossing it on the grill. I made the Fries For Jules with it (another recipe from Guy. Nice combination. Big THANKS to Guy!

I marinated my meat for 24 hours and the only substitution was that I used rum not vodka, as that was all I had! I agree with other posters who recommended reducing the marinade for a sauce. I thought that really added to the flavor. Not sure I'll make it again, but it was a nice meal and my boyfriend was impressed with my grilling!

I made this using London Broil and cooked it on my stovetop. It came out great (and I'm one to usually overcook beef, The only thing I didn't do was wipe off the steak with paper towels as sugested in the recioe. I just shook the marinade off and it gave it a nice spicy crust when seared.

I followed this recipe exactly. I let it marinate overnight and BBQ'ed it for 3.5 minutes per side. The meat tasted as if it was spoiled. I can't imagine anything I could do to this recipe to fix the flavor. Will NOT make this again.

I am definitely not a great cook...but this recipe made me look like one! The marinade was very easy to make. I used a rib-eye skirt steak which was very thin, and only marinaded it for 4 1/2 hours. It was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this recipe.

I tried this recipe the other day I let it marinade over night and grilled it for dinner. Even my pickiest eater had seconds. Absolutely awesome. No left overs. This is a must try.

I made the whole menu: Bloody mary flank steak, Parmesan tater tots, grilled romaine with bacon dressing ---and devil's food cupcakes. It was awesome and a perfect sunday football meal. The marinade could use a little tweaking to personal tastes, but all in all it turned out perfectly. I love doing the whole thing on my cast iron grill on the stovetop and it was all made in an hour--except the cupcakes which I prepared earlier-- and of course the steak marinade was done ahead. We marinated the steak overnite. I think that any less would have yeilded less positive results. I will do this again!
