Thanks to bigdoglover for suggesting that the garlic be added before baking and to cooking4family for suggesting the broiler. I added the garlic/salt/pepper before baking, since I'm a firm believer in seasoning things WHILE they cook, not after. Setting them under the broiler for a few minutes worked great as well. YUM - what a simple dish! My hubby and I both loved them and they worked great with the bloody mary flank steak.

These were a definite hit! The only change I made was to toss the in the garlic before I baked them. A delicious, easy, twist on an old favorite. I'll definitely make these again!

These are comfort food Sublime! I'm going to make them again tonight. I usually buy the tater tots with minced onions in them - which is in my freezer now. Can't wait to have them with the baby back ribs and 3 bean salad! Thanks Guy for bringing back such great memories!

I add a little Italian Seasoning and my family really likes these. Quick and easy for busy weeknights.

Contrary to the fabulous aroma of my kitchen, I found that you definitely need to salt & pepper these to taste or they are bland. I've reheated these under the broiler for approx. 7 minutes and thought they were amazing! The taters get extra crispy, the parmesan melts, and the parsley and garlic mold into every bite. Next go around, I'll stick these under the broiler before serving.

Made these tasty treats and served along with Paula Dean's Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf recipe.......soooooooo good! The potatoes on their own were a great late night munchie the other nite, so I decided to make them again tonight wih dinner. Thanks Guy!

I made the recipe for breakfast this morning and was very disappointed. They were bland and missing something. I will play around with the recipe because I love tater tots.

I don't really cook much and I made a huge bowl of these for a pot-luck super bowl party. I basically doubled the recipe. No one knew I made them and everyone was commenting how good they were. We had wings, ribs, and more but all they could talk about were the taters. It was the first dish to empty at the table. I'll definitely be making these again. Fun, easy and taste really awesome!

These were awesome. I made 5 pounds of these for a SuperBowl party last year and they all went (only 6 guests, people were scraping the bowl. This is not rocket science, it is a great twist on a comfort food from our youth. So easy and crowd pleasing. Guy is MONEY!

This was kind of fun. The people who spend their time commenting on recipies they haven't even tried so they can make themselves feel intelligent are so, so sad to me. What exactly do they do, make beef wellington for their four year olds every night? I'll admit it's not gourmet, but it was fun. And cooking is supposed to be fun
