Delicious, decadent and elegant! My kids got a kick out of the flame (from the gas burner before I was actually ready for it! I paid attention and poured the rum in from the measuring cup. It was luxuriously rich and light at the same time; a wonderful combination of textures. The other time I had it, it was served over the ice cream only. Thanks for the recipe! It's a new one joining my arsenal!

I saw the show and immediately got the recipe. I have not made it yet, but i know that it will be great. It looks so simple, i think the only reason it is intimidate is because of the flambe

I thought Paula's Bananas Foster was wonderful.***** I have had it many times in Mexico but this was great. I could not get mine to light. I used Myers's Original Dark Rum. It said it is 80 proof. I may need to add a little bit more rum next time. Thanks Paula

WOW! Paula really knows her desserts. This is sinfully delcious. And way to easy. I even added a bit more rum than it called for. This is my new favorite dessert recipe. It is very good with ice cream. I will try with pound cake too.
