My dad was sick and I wanted to give him something cold and smooth. He loved this recipe.

This was a great dessert! The semifreddo was light and refreshing. I put 1 cup of evaporated milk in the freezer and whipped it instead of heavy cream and it worked great. I also topped it with coconut instead of amaretti cookies. Next time I might try adding some coconut in with the pineapple, and some coconut milk maybe, for a pina colada taste. Highly recommend making this dessert!

This was a welcome treat on a hot summer's day. You could even try putting more pineapple in it if your favor a fruitier taste. Very creamy and light.

This was very good. I made it for my daughters 13th Birthday party. She had an Hawaian themed party and the Pineapple Semifreddo was a huge hit.

We thought this was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. Make sure to use crushed pineapple. We used sliced that we chopped up, but the pieces were still a bit large, and were hard to bite down on.

With my additions. So easy! I crumbled coconut macaroons on the top and drizzled with chocolate coconut sauce. YUM! Got to have chocolate with this recipe.

I served this dessert on Labor Day for our group of 8 and there was not a crumb left. Even those who don't eat dessert had a piece and raved about it.

This dessert satisfied your sweet appetite and yet not heavy filling after our meal. This is a great dessert to be served after heavy meals.

It was good but it could be improved by the other suggestions by reviewers. Layering with wafers, with orange instead of pineapple. I like your suggestions folks!

Easy and came out great - instead of using just pineapple, I also used berries
