The recipe was easy to follow and simple to make, but I was disappointed that it was too dry. Although it tasted good, it did lack moisture. Any suggestion?

This was very simple to make and the flavor was good, but the cost was exorbitant. I started figuring up the cost in my head and came up with nearly $25! I couldn't find creme de cassis at the grocery, so I bought a raspberry liquer which was $10, the cheese was $6, the pound cake was $3+, and the strawberries $4+, plus the lemon. I will probably make again in order to use up the raspberry liquer, but may substitute the recommended cream cheese and use frozen strawberries instead of fresh.

Coating the pound cake with the liquer was a little dry. It would have been better if the pound cakes were soak in the liquer for a little bit. But overall, the recipe was easy to follow and taste pretty good.

Would have liked exact measurement on the lemon juice. Had a hard time getting it to be more liquid. Some lemons don't have alot of juice. Could be time of year. Taking it to work so I'll see what they think about it.

This recipe was simple, quick and tasted absolutely fabulous. I served it to some friends who all wanted the recipe. This may become a family staple.

My husband and I couldn't wait to try this recipe after the episode. It was sooooo simple to make; yet it tasted like I'd slaved for hours. I can't wait to debut the sweet treat at my next dinner party.
