If you plan to make this recipe from scratch, do not let the TV episode mislead you--the tomato sauce takes about 30 minutes longer than the rest of it. The order listed on the recipe is a bit off, too. Don't start the water for the spaghetti in the beginning, because the entire process takes at least one hour.
Make sure you squeeze the daylights out of the bread after it has been in the milk. I didn't, and the meatballs were too wet to hold together.
Drain the tomatoes really well and make certain that you squeeze the tomato juice out of them in the sink.
This is Tyler's first recipe that came close to disappointing us--and that was entirely due to the timing issues. I will make this again but will make the timing corrections I've mentioned. The meatballs taste great, so give it a try.

Takes some time and effort, but totally worth it. This is one of those recipes that tastes just as amazing as you think it will when you watch it being made on tv.
