They are tasty but not as spicy as I had hoped from the name. I made them with only 1/2 cup white sugar instead of the 1 cup suggested. They are a little dense too. All in all I will still take them to our party but I am going to whip some cream and add some lemon zest and more caramelized ginger to dip them in.

These cookies were lovely. I used minced/jarred ginger b/c that is all I had on hand and they still turned out great. I've made them several times and the last time I served them frosted.

Not very spicy considering all the spices added. Kind of bland. Not the best texture - a little floury. Easy to make though.
Not bad, just nothing to write home about.

These are fabulously flavorful! I do recommend rolling the dough in a bit of sugar before baking to sweeten them up a tad.

They taste a lot like molasses cookies, and just as good. I Have a hard time keeping them around.

Made these today and they are ok for a spice cookie, but milk choco chips and sugar on the top made them better!!
