So simple and tasty! I use Ship brand Indian Special Curry Powder which gives this recipe a little kick. I also use Chicken stock instead of veggie. A cup of this soup with a slice of sour dough bread is pretty close to heaven and not terribly bad for me either! Love it!

I kinda mixed 2 recipes to this one Isauted 1 jalapena pepper . you could use just a half it does come out hot that way!!! Ilike it hot. You can do so much with it I made some not hot for my grandchildren and added alittle cummin. all were good

This soup was delicious and easy to make. I used real garlic instead of powder because I did not have powder and it turned out just fine. My family are vegetarians so I used veggie stock. This soup was very creamy and is my new comfort food soup!

If your spices are good quality and fresh (mine our the seasonings totally overpower the delicate flavor and sweetness of the butternut squash. This was not edible!

I tried the recipe after watching "chicken crossing" episode. I wanted to try something a bit different. This is great, and the most amazing part is my 2 and 5 year old boys love it! great way to get the kids to eat some veggies!

    Thankyou,

I added some canned lite coconut milk and used vegetable broth instead of chicken (we don't eat meat. Yummy soup and so very fast to make. If yours seems too thick, just thin it out with a little more broth or use the coconut milk like I did. It really adds to the curry flavor.

This was our fist time making butternut squash soup and it was so easy. It was very tasty and so much better than the soup in the grocery store. The lime crema was surprisingly a great addition. I will make this again.
