This was not only the EASIEST dessert I've ever made, but it was absolutely fantastic! I ended up making another one the next night because my family DEVOURED the first one! Thank you, Ms. Paula, for finding ANOTHER tasty recipe where the star ingredient is grits.

I have made this recipe several times, have taken it to work and have people guess what it is and they always guess custard. I used splenda can't have all the sugar. Love it, had to stop making it for a while was eating too much.

This pie is incredible! The only thing I'd change about the recipe is putting a disclaimer on it to be sure to bake 2 pies--one is just not enough! If you like Custard Pie, you'll love this. The grits just add a texture that makes it wonderful. My family is already requesting I make another one (and I just made one yesterday!.

My husband loves grits and I am not a big fan of them at all. When I saw this I was very interested. It was so easy! My husband loved it! This pie is now on our family's list for holidays!

The first time I prepared the pie last weekend I had read reviews and people were stating the pie was to sweet, so I cut back on the sugar and mine was not sweet enough. Prepared again this weekend following Paula recipe it was AWESOME!

I was watching Paula & my husband sat with me to watch & she was cooking Grits pie. My husband loves grits & asked me to make it. It turned out great! He could not believe it had grits in it. He took a few pieces to work for the guys & they loved it also. I liked the cook whip & strawberries on it, delicious! My husband liked it plain. He wants me to make it again also for Thanksgiving. I read some reviews, so I cut the sugar back a little, still great! Thanks Paula I love you & your show keep the great recipes comeing

Took it to a party last night I doubled the receipe and kept one for myself, I don't bake and I was so proud of myself. Everyone raved and when I told them it had grits in it, everyone laughed and said " it does not", so after 10 people ask me for the receipe they could see o yes it does. So easy, so good, soooo southern and that what I am all about. I honestly think you could cut the sugar down gonna try 1/2 cup next time. You have to make this....

I just made this for the first time. I like grits as a breakfast item, and expected the pie to be similar, but it was better than I could have imagined!

My husband and II were watching your show and saw you making the grits pie. My husband loves grits and he asked me to try to make it for him, he said it looks soooooooo goood. I have made the pie twice, my mother-in-law, my husband and my grandbabies love it. They want me to continue to make one every week. I love watching you and am planning on trying alot more of your receipes.
