Simple and great tasting. Reminded me of my favorite greek custard dessert Galaktaboureko but a lot less work!

This was a wonderful pie. It keeps well but doesn't last long! My 3 year old son ate the most of it, and is hooked on grits now.

One thing I really liked about this pie is I had everything in my kitchen to make it.My family liked it as well.
I served it with wild blueberry topping and cool whip.

THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE PIES. EASIER TO MAKE THAN EGG CUSTARD AND JUST AS GOOD. QUICK AND EASY TO MAKE BETWEEN MY BUS RUNS. A SHORT AND SIMPLE DESERT.

This pie is great. I do have to say though, that I had to throw out the first batch, and the second one came out great. The recipe says to stir the grits over heat for 4 minutes. Well when you do this, the grits get too clumped together, so I suggest just 3 minutes, NO LONGER! You want it creamy, not chunky. I think that's the most crucial part of making this recipe. But all in all-quite tasty pie!

This is a great pie and very easy to make. It is much better served cold than warm.
