This is total bacon candy goodness! My fiancee is diabetic and I actually make this with Splenda Brown Sugar and it is still awesome!

the flavors are so good together. An easier way to bake it is to lay them out on a rack on a aluminum foil lined backing sheet for easy cleanup and they bake quicker. I bump the temp to 400 and it takes about 20 minutes. My boyfriend can;t get enough of these bacon strips whenever we make them.

I love this simple recipe for two reasons... the sweetness and saltiness is fabulous, but even better, the clean up was a breeze... no more splattered stovetops (or microwaves and that bacon smell no longer lingers in the house all day. Like other reviewers, the bake time is a little long so watch closely after 15-20 mins.

This bacon is the best we have ever made. We reduced the amount of brown sugar to about 1/8 of a cup which cut down on the sweetness a little. For our tastes it was perfect! For a real treat try using Neuske's bacon!

My family already loves bacon, but this sent it over the top. My advice - just sprinkle each piece of bacon with the brown sugar. Too much is too much. Make sure to let it get golden brown and crispy. So delicious!

I followed the recipe precisely. I checked on it at 25 minutes.....burnt...

    15 minutes could be sufficient.

    please be aware.

This bacon was fantastic - the perfect balance between sweet and salty. I will never make bacon on the stovetop again. It looked too greasy when it came out of the oven, but laying the non-sugared side on a paper towel for just a minute before serving worked great.
