Delicious and very easy. My houseguests and I were impressed; however, the recipe makes a ton!

I absolutely loved this recipe! One little suggestion add a tiny bit more sugar on top for maximum flavor... I absolutely loved this recipe definately DELICIOUS!!! Will most certainly will make these again, no one could keep their hands off of them.

These scones got rave reviews from the guests at my B&B. Great taste, good texture and not too dry or too sweet.

Thought my current scone recipe was the best but after trying Ina's I now have an even better one. I also reduced baking time and sprayed scones with a little water and sprinkled sugar on top, reduces "crusty tops". Adding 1TBL of zest adds great flavor to the glaze. Regarding too much kosher salt, all brands are not the same, something to do with crystal structure-I used 1 tsp of Morton's.

Just the way nature intended! If you can taste both flavors individually - you have a GREAT recipe!! They are light, fluffy and oh so addictive!!
Not the heavy sinkers I've had in the past. I substituted 2% milk for the cream - maybe that had something to do with it . . . but still super good!

I was a little worried about trying scones. They always seemd troo daunting. I was suprised at how easy these were. They were delicious, light, and fluffy. I will definitely be making these again & again.

I watched these being made on tv and I had to rush and get the recipe to make these. They were very flaky and light. I will be making these again and again. Thanks!

I was amazed at how easy this recipe was and I definitely did not expect to finish baking them as quickly as I did. They turned out perfectly too - just like the ones from my favorite bakery. I was worried that I over mixed and over handled the dough, but they still turned out light and flaky. I don't have a standing mixer and so used a handheld mixer. The mixer didn't work very well, but it got the job done. I also added an extra tsp of orange extract to the cream/egg mixture and to the icing mixture. I would recommend everyone make these for guests. I also like the idea of giving them as gifts. Does anyone know what their shelf-life is?
