Cupcakes were heavy and dense and tasted like Jiffy baking mix. Not happy I wasted money for the ingredients.

I used a box mix and my own buttercream frosting recipe, but took all the rest of the ideas. They were impressive and looked exactly like the picture! I give this 5 stars because it was easy, fun and very cute for kids. If you don't like the cake/frosting part just use your own.

The cupcakes turned out great. I used Fondant for the egg shell. I had never used fondant before, but found it easy to make and work with. The recipe is on Wilton. The only reason I did't give it 5 stars, because it melted, and I mean melted! All the icing melted and everything slid off. The cupcake itself I made the night before and kept in fridge. The next day I assembled them and put them back in fridge. It's when I took them out from the cold fridge and set them out on my Easter dessert table they started to fall apart.. So if making these, keep them cold.

The cake was very dry and the frosting was super sweet. I dont think that we will be making this one again. Yields were off a bit as well.

This was very tasty. It drew in a lot of positive comments. It has become a request every year for Easter from friends and family!

I didn't read any reviews first - I wish I had. This was the most horrible cake receipe ever. I made it the same as it said except for I didn't have a food processor so I used a mixer. It made a whole lot more batter than just for the cupcakes, I had a whole another cake. The cake was sooooo dry, even my husband hated it and he'll eat anything. The icing was just like eating 10x sugar. It didn't have flavor t all. I am very surprised food network allowed this recipe to be in it's collection. Yes, it was cutely decorated but that could have been done using a box mix (which I hate. It was a very dry cake with icing that didn't taste good. The only thing good about it was how it was decorated. Very poor for food network.

These were a huge hit at Easter this year! I had a lot of fun making them. Make sure you have a large food processor though! You can get the white airheads at Party City too. I had no problems making these at all - yummy and visually appealing! Thanks!

I didn't make the cake recipe I just used the decorating part. These turned out so cute, a little time consuming so definatly make sure you are up for it. I really liked this one.

This was a fun and easy recipe for me, a wannabe cook. The fluff frosting was a disaster though.wouldnt get think enough to put on cupcake without it slipping off.so instead i just used regular fluff with food coloring.white airheads/airheads in gereral are very hard to find in my town.overall, great project.
