These brownies were so easy and do not taste like they are box brownies, I usually make brownies from scratch as they ted to taste better. I used a generic brownie mix and with the raspberry jam, white chocolate and almonds these brownies tasted great. I love taking something ordinary like brownies and bumping up the flavor.

I was afraid this was too close to a "semi-homemade" type recipe and that it wouldn't be anything special.....WRONG! These are so delicious and decadent - something you would pay 5 bucks for in a coffee shop or bakery. I almost left off the white chocolate and almonds, but decided to do the recipie as given. I'm glad I did. It really does add something special and along with the jam, makes this much more than a semi-homemade, from the box recipe.

These were so good my family devoured them! I made them the following weekend for a potluck and everyone wanted the recipe. Don't hesitate to make this one!

I made these brownies and they were great! I didn't have raspberry jam so I used strawberry instead. I also substituted toasted pecans instead of almonds. Good dessert when entertaining with friends.

I didn't have the raspberry jam on hand so I substituted apricot preserves. It was fantastic! They were chewy and gooey and looked elegant all at the same time. The addition of the toasted salted almonds really completed this dessert. I toasted my sliced almonds in just a little bit of butter and salted them with kosher salt first...then laid them on paper towel to dry them. I always love sweet with salt anyway so this was a real winner. I will definitely make them again and again.

I needed an quck recipe that would have a wow factor and this was it.
I made them to take to a party and they were gone before the coffee was poured, I promised to send the recipe to everyone and I did.
Easy to make and taste great, I made them again last night had some slivered almonds left over from another great Giada recipe and used those instead of roasted/salted, they were still great, but that salty taste with the sweet is worth it.
As always thanks Giada, you make everyone think I am a great cook!

I made this for the first time today, and it was an instant hit with my husband and me. I agree with reviewers who say to eat this dessert in small pieces, as it is pretty rich. I did love the white chocolate and almond topping. Overall, this is very easy to make, and I will definitely keep it on hand when entertaining guests or for a special treat.

I just made these for my husband and they are wonderful. Although I was not able to get my chocolate to loo as nice as Giada it all tastes the same and is soooo tasty.

I have to admit, I wan't a big fan of these when they were still warm. I cooled them overnight in the fridge and wow, they were unbelievable.

Even better on day 2-Really delicious, couldn't stop eating. I agree, cut in smaller pieces-very rich and delicious! Freeze well.
