My family and I loved this. I did not add water to the potatos, and microwaved them longer. I also did not mash the potatos. My kids loved it.

Not only did it not taste good, but the texture of the frozen potatoes was very skeevy.

Someone at the block party asked me if I used frozen Potatoes O'Brien in my potato salad and I said "no" but they didn't believe me. You should mash it up (even though she told you not to do this on the show so that the little potato cubes aren't all the same size.

The thawed frozen potatoes were very mealy and unappetizing. I much prefer her "Eggy Potato Salad." It has loads more flavor and is much easier to prepare. This one was too bland for my taste.

Because I love to cook with ingredients I already have in my pantry, I decided to make this recipe with Betty Crocker Potato Buds, which, as you know are pre-mashed potatoes! What could be easier! I seasoned them with a generous heaping of "Mrs Dash" (another pantry staple. I did not use eggs, as they are not kept in the pantry. It was super potato salad! If you are still waiting, it's fine to leave out the eggs entirely. Egg Beaters might make the salad too runny.

This recipe saves a ton of time! The most time-consuming part of making potato sald is boiling and peeling the potatoes. Using the frozen potatoes is really smart. I brought it to a family gathering, and no one could tell the difference between this and "traditional" potato salad. I did not "mash" the potatoes though.
