a much more tasty way is, 3/4 cup raw cashews, soak about 1/2 hour in water then drain and put in blender with 1/2 cup non dairy milk, like almond milk , warmed, 1 teaspoon salt and 1 tablespoon curry blend well and enjoy the heavenly flavor.

This was delicious. My kids even ate it and liked it. My husband suggested trying it in deviled eggs. I used a little on my pork chops as well and it was outstanding! I am not a curry fan but this was wonderful! I even went out and bought more asparagus to make tomorrow and use the rest of the sauce. Yum! I also used almonds for mine because I did not have any other nuts available.

We throughly enjoyed this recipe. Only change ... I did not have any cashews so used almonds. I am not an asparagus fan ... normally tis hub's favorite veggie ... this was great.

Very good sauce, consider using pine nuts instead of cashews.
I modified the sauce with 1 tsp sugar & 1 tsp of lemon zest.

but found the cashews very distracting and the color of the mayo... offputting. I would not make this recipe again.

What a way to ruin asparagus. Never again.

I've used this recipe numerous times and always with great luck. It's the easiest way to cook asparagus and can be used with or withour the mayonaise. When I serve it, my guests always ask how I made it.
