The celery root is an excellent partner to the mashed potato. It gives the potatoes a complex flavor and elevates the dish to a new level. Highly recommended!

I am going to forever "ROOT" for this. They are a pleasant test to ordinary Mashed Potatoes. Thanks Robin.

I loved the celery root taste in the potatoes. I nice change from just plain mashed potatoes.

This is the first time I have made home made mashed potatoes and it didn't turn out how I hoped. Maybe because I did not add the celery root, I don't know, or maybe because it wasn't mashed enough, but my family would have preferred Idaho Spuds from the box!!

Very unique change from the same ol' mashed potatoes. The garlic taste was a little week but, just add more : Either way, the celery root is the star of the show.

The buttermilk makes the potatoes very creamy and it tastes great WITHOUT even missing all the fat of butter!

These were a snap to make but for that real down-home mashed potato taste I added almost a whole stick of butter.....
