This recipe is very simple and healthy. Its so easy! I made it on New Years Day and then I made it again but I used an onion instead of the shallot and I added some lemon juice. It was very good and the flavors just melted in your mouth. Delicious with chicken!!

ABSOLUTELY LOVED these beans! I served them for XMAS Eve dinner along with ham and rosemary and cheese scalloped potatoes. I took one of the other reviewers advice, and sprinkled some toasted walnut chips on top just before I served them. They had a wonderful flavor and were very easy to prepare.

This isn't bad at all its pretty darn good. I like the fact that my children loves to eat them. my husband is a meat and potato kinda guy but he enjoyed these as well. And if you like to kick it up a bit you can add 1/2 C walnuts or almonds to the recipie. eather one it taste good.

Oopps! I made this dish last but, I was so busy setting the Thanksgiving table while it was in the oven that I inadvertently overcooked the dish! The parts that weren't overcooked was fantastic!

I made these green beans for Thanksgiving and everyone loved them, even people who said they don't normally like green beans.

These green beans are fantastic! Flavorful and easy to do. I've made them twice in two weeks and will serve them for Thanksgiving.
