Oh WOW!! I just made these for my husband who is a self proclaimed chocolate junky, and he loved this!! The ganache was so easy and it just melts in your mouth. This is definately a keeper recipe and I give it 5 stars!! Thank you Ina.

I tried this recipe twice in two days and was very disappointed both times for the same reasons. The batter completely spilled out of the cupcake pans. The first attempt was like a volcano inside of the oven. I had batter everywhere. I though it was my fault, and that I had filled the cups with too much batter (2/3 of the way up. I baked them at 350 per the instruction, so I was determined to try again. I just finished with the second batch which I only filled half way and lo and behold!! mu cup runneth over again! except that this time, it wasnt as hard to clean up because the oven was spared. Not only is this a mess to clean up, but you lose the integrity of the cupcake because trying to get them out of the pan completely tears them apart. The flavors are great, but hardly worth the painful process!!!!

We saw Ina make this on her show and thought we'd give it a shot. We left off the coffee because I don't drink coffee, but otherwise followed the recipe. Cupcakes took a little longer than the suggested time, but they were delicious! Texture was velvety and it was oh so chocolatey! Will be making these regularly for sure.

These cupcakes were fabulous! The hint of coffee really brought out the chocolate flavor. The recipe calls for all purpose flour. Since it doesn't call for baking powder or soda I used self-rising flour and the cupcakes turned out perfect. However, the recipe says it makes 12 cupcakes. When I made them I had 18 cupcakes. Maybe my pans are a little smaller than the ones used in the recipe. The ganache really turned out great and I will be making this recipe again and again.

Made these for a birthday party for my son. The ganache was fantastic and tastes just as good as it looks! Amazing flavor without a lot of fuss.

I had a terrible time with these raising at all. I followed the recipe exactly and they just sunk in the liners and pulled away from the side of the paper when I took them from the oven. The taste is good but I wont be able to serve them at a function I made them for. I will need to find another option. Luckily I have a few days yet. I doubled the recipe. Wish I hadnt now :(
