I've been trying to introduce more healthful foods into our menus and this is a great way to do it. The lentils are very easy to make and all the prep can be done in advance if necessary. I've also saved the leftovers for lunch or as a side with other meals. It reheats well and it isn't bad at room temp either.

We loved this dish. The salmon cooked perfectly. I had to transfer it from the pan from the stove onto a baking sheet. My pots and pans cannot be used at such a high temp. Also, I couldn't find green lentils so i used the yellow ones that are readily available. Absolutey delicious!!!

I've never eaten Lentils before, but after watching Ina make this really simple and easy recipe, I had to try it...and it was wonderful! I've even made the lentil part of the recipe with other sources of protein, like baked chicken and pot roast.

I have at last mastered the art of cooking fish. I have tried for years to get that perfectly cooked skin and it would never turn out. Now, I can serve restaurant quality salmon from the comfort of my home!! Thanks Ina!

Very tasty dish. But mostly I want to thank you Ina for teaching the technique for the salmon. FINALLY I know how to put a nice crust on a piece of salmon--I always ended up charring and ruining my fish :(
    You're the best!

Wow! Delish-us! But, if you're kitchen ventilation isn't state-of-the-art, better get a cross breeze going for the searing of the yummy salmon. I LOVE lentils and her concoction did not dissapoint. YUMMY!

I followed the instructions and it came out delicious! Next time I might add a few more carrots, as they bring a nice sweetness to the stew, but it had a lot more flavour than I expected. Great for leftovers.
