WOW this recipe is definitely a keeper! I'm a lover of sweets so I love to find new great recipes and this one hits the spot! My mom and father are not big fans of sweets but they absolutely LOVED them! I'm very happy =].

I made cookie-cake! Same recipe but half the sugar, half of the chocolate. filled a smaller pan, about a half inch of the batter, same baking time and temp. cut into squares. DELISH!

I use this recipe ALL the time. If you want it a little more soft, i add another tablespoon of butter. One of my FAVS!

I made this recipe tonight. I thought it was a very easy recipe. I followed the recipe exactly except I cut the salt in half. I also added some walnuts into the last 8 or 9 cookies, which was good. I will definitely make these again!

I followed the advice of one of the earlier reviews and pulled them from the oven around 8 minutes. They are soft and chewy even a few days later! I also found that it was too many chocolate chips for my taste. I've made these many times and they always get rave reviews!

great loved it but me and my cousin both think it needed half as much of the chocolate chips as it said in the recipe cause the chocolate made it alittle too sweet for everyone

I'm not a crispy cookie eater ... so I made these as the instructed 2 tablespoon level (and maybe a little larger and they were firm but soft when cooled and delicious even the Next Day!! Perfect recipe for me and my family. Thanks!!

The cookies turned out great. I used butterscotch chips instead and they were still great. I had to use my mortar to grind the salt more finely so I can make sure it doesn't get clumpy in the dough. No saltiness in the cookie! Also, if you want a chewy cookie, take them out before they brown too much. They get much harder after they cool so they're not as chewy anymore. I pulled my cookies out around 8 minutes instead and they turned out beautifully and perfectly chewy. Have fun!
