I made these and brought them to work and everybody loved them. I was even asked for the recipe.

This cookie is easy to make with a food processor. I change the filling by just spreading different flavor jams with nuts instead of mixing the filling on the recipe. Raspberry and walnut is a favorite, everyone looks forward to them on holidays!!

These are definately worth making. The apricot filling just adds an extra something that cookies just don't have. This recipe is definately the best desert idea I've gotten from foodnetwork.com. Everybody loved them!

I've made these twice and they are very tasty. I don't think they were that much trouble to make as I've made similar types of cookies before. You have to keep the dough cold or it will be too hard to handle. I used walnuts instead of hazelnuts. The filling does ooze out a bit when they are cooking so parchment lined pans are a must. I'm going to try cooking the cookie roll and then slicing it into individual cookies after it's cooled completely.

This was a very time consuming mess! The dough was difficult to work with. The filling leaked out every one of them. Good thing I used the parchment paper. I don't feel it should be rated as easy to make. I'm going to look for another rugalach recipe.

I found this recipe to be very tasty but very time consuming. Maybe because I did not have a food processor so I did most everything by hand except chop the nuts - I used a mini chopper. One review stated they were tasteless but I did not find that at all. I took a batch to work and everyone loved them but be prepared to spend some time making them!

My first attempt at rugalach, and a bit time intensive, but totally worth it. The dough is so rich and you can really taste the creamy (cream cheese texture in them. I will totally make these again, maybe improvising with different preserves next time.
