I made these for a potluck at work, and they were delicious! Everyone loved them and it was worth the effort. My boyfriend and I have tried lots of these at various restaurants, and agreed these tasted the best.
I left out the fresh mint and fennel fronds, but I don't think it really needed it. I added a little Cavender's greek seasoning instead, and it was awesome.
Thanks Emeril for another great recipe.

the first thing one should know is that:: authentic middle eastern grape leaves are made with fresh raw ground lamb, long grain rice and spices... never never cood the meat ahead of time and then stuff.. yuk... I can't imagine how tough and tasteless they are,... take it from soneone who makes these monthly, this is not the way to go..
