Although I diced the potatoes to 1/2 or less after two hours the potatoes were still semi-firm. Next time I would par boil them. Also I had a hard time finding precooked turkey, so I had to roast a breast tenderloin first. So this was really an all day meal.

I made this dish right after watching the show....it was easy to prepare and everyone loved it. I would definitely make this dish again! Just note when watching the show, the cooking time is actually 2 1/2 hours before adding the biscuits.

What an easy way to use up some pantry items! I used 3-13oz cans (drained chicken breast, one whole fresh onion, 3 smaller cubed white potatoes, defrosted frozen mixed veggies, 2 cans reduced fat cream of chicken soup and 1 lg. can mushrooms. May have to increase cooking time a bit, however, It was delicious! Thank you Sandra for the idea!

I made this dish after watching the show yesterday, and it turned out perfectly. I used the Perdue shortcuts, but next time will just use leftover chicken; fresh onion, and everything else as directed. Ten minute prep, ready in 2 hours, DELICIOUS!

It was alright but I think it could be better the second attempt. First of all, I used all fresh vegetables. The cooking time had to be increased by an hour. Because of using fresh chopped carrots and potatoes, there needed to be more liquid for them to be absorbed. I know I should of followed the recipe and maybe I'd have better luck. The biscuits were gooey- even after baking all that extra time. Since I hate uncooked dough, baking them separately would be another change for next time. The concept is great, though.

I made this last night after seeing Sandra make it on her show. I took a lot of these reviews into account and I used 2 small red potatoes but cut them up very small so they'd cook up evenly with everything else. I didn't have the frozen onions so I used extra frozen peas. I used fresh chicken breasts which I poached first, then cut into small cubes, no turkey. I also used a 9x13 casserole dish. Well, it came out great... the potatoes were cooked thru and the biscuits were yummy, really excellent and I'll be sure to make it again!

I am always amazed at the recipes that Sandra can put together. I have tried quite a few and am always pleased. However, this one is exceptional. I happened to tape this particular episode and watched it a day or two after it aired. It was specified on the air to thaw the veggies, which I did. I used fresh onion, not frozen, used all chicken, no turkey. This recipe is delicious. I had my father-in-law and aunt over for dinner, we all loved it! My aunt is a wonderful southern cook, but she raved and raved about this dish. She said the sauce had a wonderful, deep flavor. That's quite a compliment coming from her. I will definitely make this many more times. Thanks Sandra for a scrumptious recipe.

I was worried that the biscuit bottoms would be doughy or raw, but I totally DID NOT have that problem. The filling does have to be boiling hot though for the biscuits to cook all the way through. The entire dish was absolutely amazing.
