I did this dish as a side, so I skipped the crabmeat. I still made the tomato and herb topping with the creme fraiche and used bacon instead of ham. I used serrano, jalepeno, and hatch chiles because that is what they had at the store. It was absolutely delicious. A great hit of spice with the cold soup and tangy topping.
