A grand drink for a cold South Carolina night, overlooking the Great Smokies, and enjoying the family.

This is the first recipe I've tried by Nigella and it motivates me to try more. It's good with or without rum. Four of us gave it a thumbs up. I omitted the honey because I personally didn't think I'd like the honey in hot chocolate- I thought everything else complimented it very well.

This is a wonderful adult version, and I love the combination of honey and brown sugar for sweetness. The rum gives it such a great kick. Perfect for cold late nights.

For those cold midwestern nights this is an essential night cap whether you use the Rum or not. Very good chocolate is a must.... and I also used a little half and half for added richness and creaminess! Enjoy this with those closest to you and you'll put a smile on their faces.

I substituted an orange liqueur for the rum and used only a teaspoon of honey. This was the best hot chocolate ever (I drank both servings!.
I am thrilled that Nigella is part of the Fook Network.
