I didn't have a roast beef in my freezer so I used a pork roast that I had. It was geat. My DH couldn't stop eating it. Can't wait to try it with a roast beef. And David your comments were pathetic. Not everyone is chef and need to start out with simple recipes. Oh and by the way David how can you comment about the show when the show hadn't even aired yet when you left your comment? I won't be contacting Conmsummate Catering any time soon to do any catering for me (and yes I have relatives in CA because of what I consider an unprofessional comment.

I made this last night for my son (13 and hubby. It was a hit! I did add mushrooms and then some corn starch to gravy to thicken a bit. The yorkshire pudding was very easy, and was quite an impressive addition to the main course. This one is a keeper! I can't wait to see what you have next week! Thanks Claire!

After watching the show for the first time this morning, I went out and bought a bone-in rib-eye roast to use with this recipe for dinner tonight. I loved all the recipes in this segment as well as Claire's easy presentation skills. I'll be making every recipe from this show for my family and grandkids. I'm not a pro, but have cooked enough years to know a good recipe when I see one! I look forward to more recipes from Claire.

the recipes look simple yet delightful (how they were intended to be looking forward to trying some of them in the future.

the show wasnt my favorite (i felt like she got a bit too into her story about traveling instead of telling me what all she was doing with the recipe but i am sure she will get better in the future.

    good luck :

This is basically what I grew up eating! I always wondered how my Aunt was able to have a great meal ready for us after church on Sundays. This was it! Simple but so delicious recipes. Forget you "Professional Chefs"! I'll take recipes like this.
