Great taste and consistency. A winning combinaton. Cookies were a little mounded. Might try using a different flour or more pumpkin.

These are great! I didn't think chocolate and pumpkin would go together but they are a perfect combination! I love the soft cakey texture this cookie has. It is not for those who prefer a crunchie/crispie cookie. These are also not the most flavorful cookie, so you may want to use heaping spoons of the nutmeg, cinnamon, etc. I will make these cookie all year round.

I was in a "semi-homeade" kind of mood so I used a choc. chip cookie mix as my base. Also I had to use pumpkin mix(store was out of pumpkin. I added flour and some extra sugar to thicken the batter. I also threw in a packet of apple-cinnamon instant oatmeal. A little fresh nutmeg really goes a long way too.

These baked up perfectly-very tender and cake like(as other reviewers mentioned. I think the extra spices and oatmeal added a nice flavor. My family loved them and no one knew I cheated! I would make these again.

This is a great recipe for pumpkin, typically not a fan. I pan roasted some pecans for added flavor and it was complete. Everyone loved them.
