These cookies were great. My husband is in Iraq so I am sending them to him as a substitute for pumpkin pie (that is if I can stop eating them!

This was my first time trying the flavors of pumpkin and chocolate together and I am wildly surprised at what a tasty combination it is! The cookies aren't very "pretty" when made according to the directions, but the taste makes up for it. Next time I will spend more time shaping the dough into balls rather than "scooping" "heaping tablespoons."

Ok, first, you'll want to make sure to read the entire recipe to see that it yields 60 cookies. I had no idea, figured it would be about 3 dozen and so we doubled it. 120 cookies later...well, you get the idea. But, they are incredibly good. Just like chocolate chip cookies with a spicy pumpkin pie after bite.

This is a great cookie. My kids and I made it together, and we love it. My kids are very picky, but they couldn't get enough of it. It is very moist and fluffy. Almost like a little cake inside!

These are great cookies. As with any new recipe I suggest you check the cookies 5 minutes before the time suggested on the recipe. I made them once and followed the recipe and then the next time I made them I ran out of Pumpkin so I used 1/2 pumpkin and 1/2 applesauce and I prefer the ones with applesauce and I didn't have any milk chocolate chips so I used semi-sweet Chocolate chips and they were great

Love the cake like texture- light and fluffy. Great flavor and its okay to use semi-sweet chocolate chips!
