This recipe is very easy and the cookies are amazing! I've never had a cookie that is so moist! I love pumpkin but was very skeptical about adding chocolate with it but they are so good. They were a big hit with family and friends, they're already requesting I make more! For storage you definitely need to put parchment paper in between the layers or they stick together.

Very delicious! I used semi-sweet chocolate chunks, since I don't like milk chocolate and my husband and I loved them! I may increase the chocolate chunks a bit next time, but that would be the only change. Very moist and soft. I agree with the storage comment, use wax paper to prevent from sticking together. Will definitely make these again!

I like Libby's Old Fashioned Soft Pumpkin Cookies better. I was thinking these would be less cake-like. Still good though.

A hit with the crowd and great recipe for fall. I was a bit leery of using milk chocolate chips at first since I stay away from milk chocolate, but if you used any darker it would overpower the pumpkin spices. It is truly a cake like cookie which is very different than even chewy cookies. Since they are so moist, I would recommend storing with wax paper in between layers to prevent sticking.

I just made these for the first time today and they are AWESOME! I love how the outside gets that cookie texture, but the inside is almost cake-like in how fluffy and light it is. Perfect fall recipe.

Great cookies- everybody that has tried them has loved them. I added a bit extra cinnamon to compensate for not having any ground ginger and they still tasted pretty good.

I make this cookie all the time, especially when fall comes. It is SO delicious- I have to make them gigantic so I can say I only had one. I'm so thankful for people like George Duran who come up with great recipes!

Great cake-like texture. Also a great tasty way to use up fresh pumpkin! I used only the 1 cup brown sugar and had toffee and white chocolate chunks too add instead of milk chocolate chunks. They turned out pretty and delicious!
