I think she made this in a pitcher with 1 can lemonade mix and 2 cans of sprite in stead of water and Kentucky Bourbon to taste. My father was born in Paintsville Ky. So you other readers are so right to use a Kentucky Product. Keep jobs in the back yard. I like Makers Mark or Jim Beam that's all you can get up here. Take care all.

I agree with other's who said this was too sweet. I don't know which ingredient made it so sweet, but I don't think it's even worth trying to figure it out.

I usually love Sandra Lee's recipes but this one was a bust.

I was going to make the drink and when I looked it up this is not the way she made it on tv. She made a pitcher full. I wish she would give the recipe the same as she made it. I know she used a full can of frozen lemonade and I think two cans of lemon-lime drink but I cannot remember the rest. Does anyone else remember how it was made?

It's a slap in the face to ALL Kentuckians to call this Kentucky Lemonade when it is suggested to use Jack Daniels Whiskey. Jack Daniels is a Tennessee product. You should use Maker's Mark or Wild Turkey to make this recipe. Then, I might raise my rating!!

First of all, it is SO wrong to name something Kentucky lemonade, and then reccomend JD whisky!!! Come on, break out the Maker's Mark! Other than that, it was pretty good.

I loved this drink. My whole family loved it. We used Kentucky Tavern for the whiskey, since we live in KY. And it was great. My husband said it reminded him of a Whiskey sour.

We made this using Maker's Mark instead of Jack Daniels, everyone loved it. The taste was well-balanced and really enjoyable. We will serve these again on Father's Day.

The lemonade concentrate is very sweet. Added to the sweet soda it was just way too sweet. Even the whiskey didn't cut the sweetness.
